Product Description :
The product T7 RNA polymerase is an enzyme encoded by bacteriophage T7 DNA.
It is a DNA-dependent 5'→3' RNA polymerase that recognizes the T7 promoter sequence with high specificity.
It syntheses the RNA complementary to the single-stranded DNA downstream of the promoter with the single-stranded or double-stranded DNA containing the T7 promoter sequence as a template and NTP as the substrate.

Highly specific for the T7 promoter, applicable to the in vitro RNA (including small RNA) synthesis.
